Our ESC Volunteer Betul Unal interviewed with young people about ESC and Erasmus+ works in Prilep.
She asked 3 basic questions about the issue to them to learn their ideas on this topic. First of all, in this study, we wanted to measure whether young people know about Erasmus+ and ESC programs afterwards, she asked if they have participated in any Erasmus+ project.
Questions that Betul Unal asked:
1- Do you know what is Erasmus+?
2- What are young people doing in European Solidarity Corps?
3- Have you ever been in any Erasmus+ project before?
She interviewed with 10 people in Prilep. According to statistics, 2 of them know these programs and experienced on those and also 3 of them have some knowledge about Erasmus+ in general but they didn't get any chance to participate to this kind of programs and finally, another 5 youth people don't know anything about that and they haven't been in this programs before in their life.
To sum up, this work was implemented to measure the awareness and capacity of young people. Participating to Erasmus+ or ESC program is so important for young people and their careers. Many of young people that participated to these projects gain unique experiences in an international area. The projects provide them a place where they can meet to get to know different cultures. The projects offer them many benefits that they can use in their professionals lives in the future.
