What makes Turkish culture so fascinating?
Our ESC Volunteer Betul Unal made a workshop for 8th grade Macedonian students about "Important Things in Turkish Culture" such as beliefs, habits, dance, sports, foods, traditions, popular places and beverages. Afterwards, they played Kahoot game about the workshop together. Our Turkish volunteer prepared some small gifts in red-white ribbons that symbolized to Türkiye's flag colors for them to wear on their chests during the workshop. They discussed on similarities between the two nations such as common words, traditions, foods, beverages, behaviors and other cultural things. They gave some cultural examples belongs to Macedonia. After that, they compared examples their gave together. Finally the students learnt some Turkish words thanks to this workshop.
